Some of you will have had problems accessing our News pages. Sometimes they would take ages to load, other times they'd stop halfway with just a search box for your trouble.
Sorry about this. It was due to a hardware problem at our ISP. Although that problem hasn't been resolved, we've moved the news feed to a new server, so you shouldn't experience so many problems in future. Inevitably, though, searching news sites does take a minute or so.
Also, a couple of you have commented about the US-bias of our news feeds. Many technology stories do begin in the 'states, but even so, we're working on a UK-specific feed for the near future.
