From: Paul | posted: 22.11.2003 15:14 We bought the above camera about 18 months ago. The picture quality has steadily got worse. The colours are not true, red shows as purple. Can anyone advise what the problem might be and how it can be resolved Can it be repaired? |

The manufacturer tells me to post it to them at my expense for repair but this will cost about £10 with packing and insurance. My contract is with Aldi and I think they should do this but they have no customer care helpline. Has anyone else found them helpful? |

From: JOHN | posted: 26.07.2004 23:58 sent mine back to germany ,didnt know about uk address in earlier post ,phoned them first on freephone number that comes on guarantee card , same fault as all of above ,purple pictures etc , cost £5 to send by recorded delivery / got a brand new camera in post and didnt have my reciept to send as it was bought from aldi with food and bill long gone ,see how long new camera lasts /but i will avoid pointing it at strong light sources as this can damage the ccd |
