Can anybody recomend a Standalone DVD Player for Approx £300.

There are loads of them about, some 'all region', some which can be converted to 'all region' (note that doing so is probably against all sorts of copyright laws) and so on. Your best bet is a specialist magazine. There are a couple of print ones available from newsagents; probably some online too, but I don't know of any myself. Perhaps someone else does...?
