A warning about reviews fraud
don't lose your kit to fraudsters
If you're a product vendor or PR company, keen to get your product reviewed by IT Reviews, please be aware of the following important information.
If we want to review your product, you'll receive an e-mail from an 'itreviews.co.uk' or 'unusualpublishing.co.uk' address. If it comes from anywhere else, please forward it to us and we'll take steps to track down the perpetrator and pass their details on to the police.
Even then, e-mail addresses can be forged. Don't assume any message is genuine until you've replied to it (so it comes back to our servers) and we've then replied again. At that point you'll know the request is legitimate.
If you send a product for review in response to an e-mail from any other address, or a phone call, the chances are you'll never see your product again - and you won't see a review either.
