With Skype becoming more popular in the modern home and with support becoming being more commonly available on mobile phones, it's no wonder BT is having to work harder with its calling plans and services to keep customers involved.
It'll have another hurdle to jump following news from Skype of unlimited minutes to over a third of the world's population, following the launch of new calling subscriptions. They offer a flat monthly rate for international landline numbers in 34 countries, with fees ranging from £1.95 per month for UK use to £2.95 for Europe and £6.95 for the rest of the world.
You can make calls at any time of the day and there are no contracts involved, though if you are willing to take out a new subscription from Skype for a 3-month or 12-month period before the 1st of June this year, you'll receive a further 33 percent discount.
