Magix has confirmed the release of the latest iteration of its movie editing software. Cunningly entitled Magix Movie Edit Pro 14, the mature and respected application will be heading to stores on 10th March. It'll be available in two flavours, with a Classic version selling for £39.99 and a Plus edition for twenty pounds more.
Both version promise to help you capture, edit and output your filmed footage, and support is now built in to upload finished videos directly to the likes of YouTube and other movie-sharing sites. More traditional CD and DVD output options are also supported.
Full HD support, surround sound and up to 99 tracks are other headline features of the new package, along with the ability to add 3D animations, including slightly spooky-sounding talking characters. Ideal if your friends are too plain to make the final cut, we suppose...
