Corsair has announced what it claims to be a world's first: performance memory upgrade modules designed for Apple Mac computers.
The memory, which is low latency, has been designed with MacBook and MacBook Pro portable machines in mind, and according to the materials the firm sent over, Corsair boast of a 28 percent performance hike potential when using its modules over standard Mac upgrade parts. It also backs its memory with a lifetime warranty, for added peace of mind.
The memory is available now, and has been tested using the likes of Photoshop, XBench and BootCamp. This is important, as one benefit of the memory is that it is targeted at popular applications, of which the aforementioned are presumably on the list. Pricing is set to start around $160.
