Actinic has announced the availability of Actinic 9, a new and improved version of its popular eCommerce software. No special hardware is required and Actinic 9 can be used with both in-house and hosted Web servers.
Aimed at small to medium sized online traders, Actinic 9 offers a range of enhancements to make the product easier to use, including new Start-up and Design Wizards and a revamped context-sensitive help function with access from every screen.
A Product Option Wizard speeds up new product creation while a completely new Tax Module provides extra flexibility for setting tax options.
Support for Google Analytics has also been added to enable merchants to track visitor behaviour in order to make informed decisions about business development, marketing campaigns and other promotional activities.
Because the majority of online merchants also sell through other channels, Actinic 9 provides a new order entry option for mail order and telephone orders. Fully integrated with the eCommerce facilities, this is designed to speed up order processing, providing integrated postcode validation and direct credit card payment options.
Version 9 also includes support for Actinic Payments, a new payment system scheduled to launch in mid-April.
Available now, single user Actinic Catalog and Actinic Business pricing remains unchanged at £399 and £799 respectively. In addition a new, consolidated, multi-site, multi-user Actinic Business Plus product has also been released, starting at £1,249 plus £300 per additional networked user. All prices exclude VAT.
