The march to widespread DDR3 memory usage may be taking a little longer than its manufacturers would like (helped in no small way by a huge price differential between DDR2 and DDR3), but that hasn't stopped them pumping the stuff out.
OCZ is the latest to announce new releases, with its new ultra-fast 2GHz modules that are designed with Nvidia's nForce 790i platform in mind. The PC3-16000 modules should help form the basis of a high performance, overclockable system, and OCZ is quick to boast of the stability of the memory, alongside its speed.
The new memory modules are available immediately, and the UPC code for them, if you fancy a bit of shopping, is 842024007494. Price hasn't been announced, but don't expect them to be very cheap...
