Buffalo Technology has extended its popular family of DriveStation external storage products with the addition of the DriveStation Combo4 TurboUSB, a range of drives with four interfaces.

Available in three capacities - 320GB (HD-HS320Q), 500GB (HD-HS500Q) and 1TB (HD-HS1.0TQ) - all the drives come with eSATA, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0, the cables for which are all included in the box.

The drive comes complete with free software including Memeo AutoBackup, compatible with PCs and Macs, that offers continuous background backup complete with password protection.

Buffalo's own Secure Lock Ware utility offers drive and file encryption for Windows users through 256bit AES Encryption technology, while Mac's Time Machine is supported for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) users.
