Store4WEB is another perfectly straightforward example of a shrink-wrapped catalogue-building tool, but you actually pay for the product by rolling six-monthly subscription. Again, the emphasis is on simplicity, the software consisting of just one screen with a menu of options that take you to the main areas of the program.

There are a few templates on offer, and these can decide the layout and colour scheme of your site, but that's about it. You can cut and paste HTML code into the text fields, as you can with most of the products here, but the main thrust of Store4WEB seems to be to provide a very simple solution without frills.

The product catalogue itself is also basic, each item offering the usual price, image and some descriptive text fields. You can create departments to categorise your stock, but there are no product variations to cater for items like 'colour' or 'size'; you will have to create separate stock items for each.

Store4WEB handles tax reasonably well. You create a list of tax codes, then choose which destinations the tax percentage applies to. Destinations also apply to shipping methods, although you only get an overall delivery cost per order or an individual cost per product. There are no real-time credit card payment facilities at present; orders are simply downloaded to the offline order-processing applet for manual processing.
